Born in the canton of Vaud, Sylvain Tscheulin graduated from the University of Fribourg in 2014 with a bilingual French-German Bachelor of Law degree, specializing in European law. He then continued his studies at the same faculty, graduating summa cum laude with a Master’s degree in law in 2016.
As part of his studies, he spent a semester at the Global School of Law in Lisbon. In parallel with his studies, he worked as a legal advisor for the Swiss Patients’ Federation.
Following his academic course, he worked at the clerk’s office of the Justice de paix in Fribourg, and then at the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law, in Lausanne.
In 2018, Sylvain Tscheulin began his legal internship with Etude Leximmo avocat e s, at the end of which he obtained his bar exam in July 2020.
Since then, he has practised in all the firm’s areas of specialization, in both private and public construction law, first as an associate of Eric Ramel and Marc-Etienne Favre, then as a partner from September 2024.
Involved in the life of the bar, he has been a member of the Jeune barreau vaudois committee since 2022.
