Matthy knows only too well that the spirit of enterprise is all about sniffing out opportunities and taking calculated risks: both of his parents were local business owners, and he himself is not only a managing partner at RWV Advocaten, but also a shareholder in a number of companies. Building on 10 years spent with an investment bank, his specialist fields are finance, mergers and acquisitions. Thanks to his unique combination of background and experience, he’s an all-rounder who’s familiar with many of the markets and industries in which his clients are also involved. As a lawyer who takes a keen personal interest in his cases and has a passion for problem-solving, Matthy’s first instinct in any case is to track down the underlying causes and motivations. As a born connector of people and things, he’s ready to assist and advise his clients at just about any time of the day or night. Whether he’s working on a merger or takeover, acquisition finance, a swap or a property deal, or assisting with a company start-up, Matthy always rises to the challenge of obtaining the best possible result and is not afraid to push boundaries in doing so.
