Karolien DEBROUX

Ms Karolien Debroux (1991, Sint-Truiden) completed her Master's degree in Law from the University of Hasselt in 2015 with distinction. She also studied at the University of Liège under an Erasmus Belgica project. She developed a special interest in family and matrimonial property law during the course of her training. She pursued a number of specific optional subjects to deepen her studies in this branch of the law. Ms Debroux has been associated with the University of Hasselt as a practice assistant and as a member of the teaching team for Private and Family Law under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Charlotte Declerck, since October 2016. She is also pursuing a specialisation course in Notarial Law at the Free University of Brussels (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) and teaches family law and inheritance law at Syntra Limburg. Ms Karolien Debroux was admitted to the Tongeren Bar in 2015 and simultaneously joined Adlex Advocaten, where she specialises in family law and matrimonial property law.
