About
Mr. Caroline Pincemin (1973, Rennes) graduated in 1995 as a lawyer at the University of Rennes II (France). In her final year, she studied at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in the context of the Erasmus exchange programme. Charmed by Belgium, she decided to stay longer and, in 1996, obtained a Master's degree in European law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Given her interest in international and European law, international relations, development and human rights, as of 1997 she worked as a lawyer for the European Commission and for an international human rights organisation; this gave her the opportunity to view human rights projects across the globe. In 2006 she decided to forge a new path within her career. In 2007, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in law at the University in Liege and then started her internship as a barrister in Tongeren. Since 2010, Caroline Pincemin has been part of Adlex Advocaten, mainly processing claims relating to contract law, liability law, commercial law, construction law, etc. Her bilingual training enables her to process claims where proceedings have to be conducted in French. In addition to her career as a barrister, in her role as a lecturer Caroline Pincemin regularly takes part in training sessions for professionals in European law and European institutions.
